Our Goal

Harper James is a women-owned small business clothing store based in western mass. Our goal is to provide trendy and classic styles that become staples in your wardrobe. We strive to put quality first, hand picking each piece. For the woman that wants it all, welcome to Harper James.

Story of Our Name 

Why Harper James? I fell in love with the name Harper, and James is from my fathers side. When coming up with a name for my boutique I wanted one with meaning and significance. While I do not have children, I've always hoped to one day use the name Harper James. Until then, this is my baby and I can not wait to watch Harper James grow.

A Note From Our Owner

My love for clothing began at an early age. I grew up in a small farming town, a shy quiet girl trying to find her way. The one thing I was certain of was my love for fashion, which led me to school where I studied fashion and retail merchandising. After college I worked with in the industry, I loved the journey but hadn't found my destination. In January of 2022 I decided to take a risk and open my own boutique, something I had always dreamt about. Harper James launched online March 3, 2022. A day that would change my life; the journey had brought me to this.

The love and support has brought tears to my eyes on many occasions. I am so proud of the community we are constantly building, something that has become even more prevalent with the opening of our first store front in February 2024. I strive to offer an environment and clothing that makes everyone feel beautiful and confident. The goal of our store if to create an elevated shopping experience, making it easier to shop many of your favorite brands in person. It is often filled with clients that feel like family and my own. I can not wait to welcome you in to our store and family.
